Who we are SHAMANZ ("we") operates this social network for the psytrance community. We are the data controller for the personal data processed here. Contact: info@shamanz.online.

What we collect - Account data: username, e-mail, password (stored only as a one-way hash). - Profile data you choose to add: display name, avatar, cover, bio, city, country, roles, genres, links, accent colour. - Content you create: posts, comments, reactions, stories, channel and direct messages, gatherings, saved tracks. - Activity needed to run features: XP and badges, streaks, friendships, notifications, RSVPs, shares. - Security data: a salted hash of your IP address for rate-limiting and abuse prevention (never the raw IP), consent records.

Why and on what legal basis - To provide the service you signed up for (GDPR art. 6(1)(b) contract). - To keep the community safe: automated and human moderation, rate limits, reports (art. 6(1)(f) legitimate interest). - To send optional feature e-mails and to load third-party music previews only if you opt in (art. 6(1)(a) consent). You can withdraw consent at any time in Settings > Privacy.

AI moderation Text you publish (posts, comments, messages, stories, bios, gatherings) is sent to Groq, Inc. to be checked against our community rules by an AI model. Groq processes it as our processor; the result is stored as a moderation decision. Flagged content is reviewed by a human moderator. No profiling or automated decision with legal effect is made about you; you can contact us to contest any moderation decision.

Third parties - Music previews are streamed directly from Deezer and Apple (iTunes) servers only after you enable external media; these services receive your IP address. - Party listings come from the Goabase public API, news from public RSS feeds. These are fetched by our server, so your data is not shared with them. - E-mails are sent through our hosting provider's mail server (Hostinger). - Fonts are served from our own server. We use no analytics, advertising or tracking services.

Retention Your account data is kept until you delete your account. Stories expire after 24 hours. Logs, notifications and security records are deleted after the retention period set by the administrators. Unactivated accounts are removed after 7 days.

Your rights You can access, correct, export (Settings > Account & data > Export) and erase (Settings > Delete forever) your data at any time, object to processing, restrict it, and withdraw consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.

Age You must be 16 or older to use SHAMANZ.

Changes We will notify members of material changes. Current version: 1.0.
